Ken and I went to grad school together at NYUin the eighties. I have fondest memories of our time together as students. I was always pleasantly surprised when he would strike up a conversation in excellent Spanish. (I'm from Spain, so this was very much appreciated). Though I moved back to Spain, I was able to follow his career from the distance. I have always admired his work, his vision, his commitment to his craft. I'm thrilled to see this webpage with a survey of his work, a real testament to what a great artist he was. He was so prolific, fully committed to the integrity of his work no matter what the circumstances of his life were. Ken, my friend, you will be missed, rest in peace.
